For those who prefer a slower pace, there is plenty of time for recovery. A visit to the spa, a warm bath with a view of snow-covered peaks, or a peaceful walk through the mountain village brings new energy and space for reflection.

For those who want to make the conference something beyond the ordinary, there are many ways to meet in the mountains. Perhaps the day’s workshop is held in a heated tent on the mountainside – an environment that invites presence and creative conversations. Here you can ski in the morning and glide straight into the meeting on skis after lunch. When the work is done, the day naturally transitions into dinner and après-ski in the same environment – a relaxed and inspiring end to the day.

Another format that has become a favorite is Ski & Talk – where the meeting moves out into the ski trail. Thoughts can flow freely here as conversations develop in rhythm with the skiing. The workshop can conclude with a gathering around a fire, where the day’s ideas are summarized over a warm cup of cocoa in the fresh mountain air.

The mountain world offers a unique combination of inspiration and recovery. Example of an itinerary – Winter Conference in Åre

Here you can follow along on a conference trip we organized in Åre – focusing on the balance between work, relaxation, and mountain experiences.

Day 1 – The journey & start of the conference

The group traveled by overnight train from Stockholm – a convenient and sustainable way to reach the mountains. In the morning, the train arrived in Åre, where the group was greeted by clear mountain air and a warm welcome. A transfer took them to the hotel, beautifully located in the slopes, where a breakfast buffet awaited.

When the coffee was finished and the bags set aside, it was time to enter the meeting room – a first session with a view over the mountain peaks. After the conference, lunch, and coffee break, the participants checked in and had a moment for themselves before the evening continued with dinner at Supper – a relaxed and atmospheric start to the days in the mountains.

Day 2 – Mountain conference & après-ski in a tipi

The next day offered a real mountain feel. The morning was spent skiing or enjoying a quiet moment at the spa, before the group made their way – with skis or transport – to a tipi in the mountains for the afternoon conference.
When the day's work wrapped up, the tipi transformed into après-ski with music, burgers, and laughter. A snowcat took the group back down to the village.

Day 3 – Optional activities & community

On the third day, the participants could choose an activity – everything from dog sledding and snowmobiling to guided skiing or chocolate tasting at Åre Chocolate Factory. For those who preferred a slower pace, a spa, hot tub, or a quiet moment by the fire awaited. After lunch and a communal après-ski at the hotel, the day wrapped up with dinner and a final evening together.

Day 4 – A soft conclusion

The last morning was a calm and harmonious ending – breakfast at the hotel, one last run in the slopes or a walk in the village before it was time to travel home.
