The Stars Behind the Masks

During one of our client’s leadership days, Adventy was tasked with creating an entertaining stage production for the evening banquet dinner with the goal of engaging and surprising the audience. Using the client’s vision as a starting point, we developed a high energy show inspired by the well known TV format Masked Singer, tailored specifically for the conference and everyone attending.

The client was asked to find a few brave colleagues behind the scenes who would be willing to perform during the evening. After plenty of secrecy and anticipation, five participants were selected, each choosing a well known song to perform as part of the show.

The secret performers gathered in the studio for a full day of recording vocals while also receiving coaching in choreography and stage presence ahead of the big night with our senior producer Svea Fröjd.

We created a unique character for each “artist” complete with costumes, performance clues, and graphic stage production together with our partner Rivercat.

The show opened with the fantastic Johanna Samuelsson as the evening’s host, welcoming the audience into a world of colorful characters and imaginative costumes. One by one, the participants took to the stage, delivering unexpected performances filled with humor, energy, and impressive stage presence. The audience responded with cheers, laughter, and growing curiosity. Who was really hiding behind the masks?

Once all the performances had taken place, the audience was invited to guess which colleagues were hidden behind the different costumes while seated in teams around the dinner tables. They then voted for the participant they believed delivered the best performance of the evening. It created a playful and engaging finale that drew the entire audience into the experience.

At Adventy, our role extended far beyond creating the musical performances. We developed and produced the entire experience, from concept and creative direction to stage production, costumes, direction, and execution. Together, we created an experience that not only entertained, but also strengthened team spirit and encouraged people to step outside their comfort zones.

The result was a memorable stage experience where applause, laughter, and surprise followed one another throughout the evening. A show that proved that when colleagues dare to step onto the stage and truly let go, something magical can happen.
